Makkah ziyarat tour
A guided private tour of Makkah's historic Islamic sites, at your own pace.
- Distance
- Multiple sites
- Journey time
- 3–4 hours
Overview
Beyond the rites of Umrah, Makkah is surrounded by sites of deep significance in Islamic history. A private Makkah ziyarat tour lets you visit them in comfort, with a driver who knows each location and the story behind it — without the crowds and fixed schedule of a group coach.
A typical tour takes three to four hours and covers the key sites around the city: the plains of Arafat and the Mount of Mercy (Jabal al-Rahmah), Mina and the Jamarat, Muzdalifah, and Jabal al-Noor with the Cave of Hira where the first revelation came to the Prophet ﷺ. Many pilgrims also visit the Masjid al-Jinn and other historic mosques.
Because the tour is private, you set the pace. Spend longer where you feel moved to reflect, pause for photographs, and pray when the time comes. Your driver waits and adapts to you, not the other way around.

Common questions about this journey
A typical tour visits Arafat and Jabal al-Rahmah (Mount of Mercy), Mina and the Jamarat, Muzdalifah, and Jabal al-Noor (the Cave of Hira). We can tailor the itinerary to include other historic mosques and sites you wish to see.
Most tours take 3 to 4 hours, but because the tour is private you can take more time at the sites that matter most to you.
Prices typically range from around SAR 200 for a sedan to SAR 400–550 for a premium GMC, depending on vehicle size. Your fixed tour price is confirmed before you set off.
The tour is completely private — the vehicle is for your family or group only, so you travel at your own pace with no strangers and no fixed group schedule.
Your driver takes you to each site and can advise on what is accessible. Climbing Jabal al-Noor to the Cave of Hira, for example, is a strenuous walk you would do at your own pace while the driver waits.
Our drivers are familiar with the sites and happy to share background and directions. For in-depth religious guidance we recommend travelling with your own scholar or group leader, whom we are glad to accommodate.
